Thirteen Aurora airport transfer questions about reserving for DEN

Aurora airport transfer questions come in two kinds: how the request works, and what happens on the day of the ride. Thirteen answers, in that order.

Who drives the car?

One Colorado luxury limousine company with its own PUC permit, its own cars and its own drivers. The office is a transportation broker: it reads the request, arranges the ride with that company and passes its written fare to you.

Who decides the fare?

The company quotes its own rate for your address and car class. The fares page shows the starting fares from thirteen Aurora crossings; your total can vary with the address, the hour, a stop or extra waiting, and the written quote gives it as one sum that you accept or decline.

Is the request itself charged?

No. The request is a free quote request, and nothing is charged for it. You pay the car company for the ride, by the method its confirmation names.

How long until the quote lands in my inbox?

Within two hours when the request arrives during phone hours, and within two hours of the next opening when it arrives after closing. The form takes pickups from tomorrow on.

Seats for small children?

Put the count of child seats in the note, with the type of each: rear-facing, forward-facing or booster. Whether the company brings them, and at what charge, is in its written quote; seats of your own are welcome too.

What if it snows the night before?

If snow is forecast for the pickup, the car company may move the time earlier, and it tells you in writing or by text.

The landing slips by an hour. Then?

Text the company's number from the confirmation. The confirmation says how long it waits after the scheduled landing and what it charges for waiting beyond that.

Is my street inside Aurora's limits?

Yes, if it is inside the City of Aurora, in any of its three counties. Some streets with an Aurora mailing address are outside the city; the office checks and tells you before anything is placed.

A reserved ride needs a new time. Now what?

Reply to the confirmation or call in phone hours with the new time; the office passes the change to the company, and the company's rules for changes apply. Moving a reserved ride, or calling it off.

Is the fare the same all year?

The starting figures on the fares page stay the same in every month. The total for your date, address and car size is the one sum in the company's written quote, which you see before you say yes; the month sheets name the weeks the office asks to hear about five days ahead.

One stop between home and the terminal?

Name the stop in the note. The company prices it in the quote, and the stop must be on the way and inside Aurora or at the terminal.

Six suitcases and a ski bag: which car?

That is more than one SUV holds: it takes four large cases, or skis and boot bags for four riders. Count all six cases and the ski bag in the form, and the company's written quote names the car, or the cars, it can send.

Who keeps my details?

The office keeps the request for the time the privacy notice sets and shares it with the one car company that answers it and with the services that carry and store mail for the office, as the notice lists. Privacy and requests.
